They say Helen of Troy smile launched a 1000 ships, Darren's cheeky smile launched 1 dead seagull, 2 empty cans of coke,1 used aerosol can, half eaten apple and a some happy passengers on the last ferry in Scotland.

Well done Darren, this cheeky dip at John 0'Groats was done for a bet in the name of charity. Even though I made sure you had an audience to cheer you on.

What can one say, well done guys a fantastic achievement,and to put the icing on the cake please give generously to our two great causes. Both charities need your support, so please dig deep into your pockets, every penny counts.

After 10 days of being on the road the Team finally celebrate reaching John O'Groats.

Day 10, the 100 mile barrier was finally broken. Heading out of Newtonmore just after 0830, we took the A9 to Inverness; after taking the bypass around Inverness and just before lunch we finally hit the coastal road for Brora.
Pulling into a lay-by just north of Inverness to prepare lunch Sharon had a slight accident with the passion wagon’s rear bumper – by the time she finishing cursing and with the guys keeping a low profile she finally decided to investigate the damage. The only thing that was holding the bumper to the vehicle was the wiring to the rear lights. Once lunch was finished the guys quickly rallied around and fixed the bumper.
The scenic coast road was fantastic, and it went along way to compensate the tiring legs as the 100 mile barrier approached. We finally arrived at our Brora Hotel just after 1600, and before the bikes’ wheels could stop spinning the guys had attacked the bar to quench their thirst.

With only 63 miles to go to John O'Groats, and our last stopover, we finally took timeout for a bit of sightseeing around Brora Harbour.
